Jonathan Ruvalcaba "El viejito"

Born in Aguascalientes city México and with early on-his-own training ; he has been practicing guitar since he was sixteen years old, developing since then his taste and passion for flamenco guitar.


Since 2007 he started working playing for flamenco dancers as musical accompaniment and performing in some states of the Mexican Republic, such as: Aguascalientes, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosí, Jalisco, Sinaloa, Durango, Baja California Sur, among others.

 

Some of his prominent flamenco guitar teacher, we can name: Daniel Delgado “El poeta”, Daniel Pimentel Murguia, Fernando Martínez Macías, Salva de María, Ricardo and Raúl de Luna, Gerardo Núñez, Niño de Pura, Antonio Rey and Manolo Sanlúcar. He has also recived classes of classic guitar and jazz, with teachers such as: Roberto Aguirre Guiochin, Alfonso Moreno Luce, Daniel Escoto Villalobos, Todd Clouser and Memo Ruiz.

 

In August of 2009 started cursing the degree of Music at the Community College of Aguascalientes, studying classic guitar under the teaching of Daniel Escoto Villalobos.
